Fantasy Music runs entirely through WhatsApp and a website. This page explains what we collect, why, who else sees it, and what you can do about it. We've written it to reflect exactly how the product actually works, not generic boilerplate.
| Data | Why |
|---|---|
| Your WhatsApp number and messages | To hold the conversation, understand what song you want, and deliver it back to you |
| The story or details you share about a song | Written into the lyrics, and optionally published if you opt into The Fantasy |
| Payment records (amount, pack, status, reference) | To credit your account and keep an audit trail. We do not receive or store your card number, Paystack handles that directly |
| A voice recording, only if you set up voice cloning | To build a reusable voice model used for your songs |
| Basic technical data (IP address, request logs) | Rate-limiting abuse, debugging, keeping the service running |
We don't ask you to create an account, set a password, or fill out a profile. Your WhatsApp number is your identity in the system.
We use a small number of vendors to actually run the service. Each only sees what it needs to do its job:
We don't sell your data, and we don't share it with anyone for their own marketing purposes.
A voice recording is sensitive, it's biometric-adjacent data. We only collect it if you explicitly start the voice-cloning flow, we only use it to build a voice model for your own songs, and we don't use it for anyone else's. You can ask us to delete your cloned voice and its underlying recordings at any time, message us on WhatsApp and say so directly.
If you opt in to share a song publicly, the song, its cover art, the story you wrote, and whatever name or attribution you choose to give (or "Anonymous" if you'd rather) become visible to anyone who visits that song's page or browses the public collection. Nothing goes public without your explicit opt-in and a review step first. You can ask for a public song to be taken down at any time.
Song audio, cover art, and conversation history are kept for as long as your account is active, so you can request alternate takes, re-download a past song, or keep using saved preferences. If you ask us to delete your data, we'll remove what we can while keeping the minimum needed for financial and legal record-keeping (like payment records), consistent with Nigerian tax and financial regulations.
To do any of these, message us on WhatsApp or use the contact details on our home page. This policy is written with Nigeria's Data Protection Act (2023) as the primary applicable framework, given the product is Nigeria-first.
Fantasy Music isn't intended for use by children. WhatsApp itself requires users to meet its own minimum age (13, higher in some regions), and credit purchases require you to be 18 or the age of majority where you live.
The Fantasy Music website doesn't use tracking cookies or third-party analytics at this time. Basic server logs (for reliability and abuse prevention) are kept the same way as any web server.
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll update the date at the top and, where the change is significant, let creators know directly.
Message us on WhatsApp, or reach out at the contact details on our home page, for any privacy question or request.
